Exam Info: Our exams are through the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), upon obtaining a pass result children will receive a report form, certificate and plaque. Exams will take place between 12.00pm and 5.00pm at Byfleet Primary School, King’s Head Lane, Byfleet, KT14 7AT on Saturday the 26th February 2022. I have selected your child/children to take part in the exam because I feel they are capable of succeeding in the exam environment at this time. However, exams are completely optional so participation is yours and your child’s choice. Until the exam I need 100% attendance & we may need to arrange an extra rehearsal, I will give you as much notice as possible as to when this may be. Please complete the form & return to me with the appropriate fees via Cash or Bacs (40978122, 09-06-66, ref: your child’s name). Please sign your child in on arrival and sign your child out upon collection. Unfortunately due to space parents/guardians will not be allowed in to wait while exams take place. All dancers taking their exams are to wear their Holly’s outfits with black leggings/joggers with trainers or bare feet. If you do not have a Holly’s t-shirt or hoodie, t-shirts will be supplied on the day.

DVD Filming Day Info: Location is Jubilee High School, KT15 1TE. on Saturday 7th May 2022. £30.00 per dancers, this includes DVD. For an additional £8.00 you can order a Blu-ray Dvd. Dancer’s will be given an hour’s time slot on the 9th May. This time slot will be given out 2 weeks prior to the filming day. All rehearsals will take place during classes. If a particular group need additional rehearsal time, this will be arranged and parents/dancer’s given notice as soon as possible, this extra training will involved additional costs. Any bad behaviour during the next few months and especially on the day of the filming will result in expulsion from the filming day, and possible future events. We are still operating in a Covid secure way to ensure the health of our dancers and helpers. Parent’s/guardian’s will not be allowed in the theatre to watch the filming. Dancers will be looked after by licensed chaperone for the time they are filming. Please ensure dancer’s bring water bottles and a small healthy snack containing no allergens such as nuts/eggs etc. Dancer’s must arrive performance ready. This includes arriving already dressed in their outfits/hair style/make up as specified by your dance teacher 2 weeks prior to the filming day. Attendance of all dancer’s is key to making the filming day a success. We understand during this time that dancer’s may not be able to make all classes leading up to the filming day but we encourage full attendance where possible to help the day run as smoothly as possible. Please remember that all dancer’s work very hard for our events, trying their best to perform at their highest standard. Mistakes will happen and that’s ok, this is all about giving dancer’s opportunity for performance and different experiences.
