Our Competition Crews 🏆
At Holly’s School of Dance, we’re incredibly proud of our competition crews, ReFresh and Fresh, who currently compete across the school year.
Both crews have had roaring success throughout the 2025–2026 competition season, and we’re so proud of the commitment, hard work and achievements of all our dancers. ❤️🏆
We’re now hoping to shortly introduce a brand-new junior crew — lilFresh! — giving our younger dancers the opportunity to become part of our competition family.
lilFresh will be aimed at dancers aged 6–8 and will complement our existing Fresh and ReFresh crews, creating a pathway for dancers to develop their skills and progress through our competition teams as they grow.
What does being part of a Competition Crew involve?
Competition Crew training takes place alongside normal weekly dance classes, with additional Saturday training, and dancers will have the opportunity to take part in approximately 3–4 competitions and performances throughout the school year.
It’s an amazing opportunity for young dancers to:

✨ Develop technique and performance skills
✨ Improve musicality, teamwork and stage presence
✨ Challenge themselves and grow as dancers
✨ Make new friends and become part of a team
✨ Experience the excitement of dance competitions
✨ Develop commitment, discipline and resilience
✨ Potentially take part in optional solos and duos
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for dancers who are enthusiastic, hardworking and committed, with a genuine love of dance and performing.
Dancers should be willing to listen, learn, take direction and put in the extra effort needed to be part of a successful competition team. 💪🏼❤️
As competition crews require a certain level of skill, performance ability and commitment, places will be based on suitability for the team. This means that not every dancer who expresses an interest will necessarily be offered a place.
We’ll always aim to provide constructive feedback and support dancers with areas they can continue to work on and develop. 🥰
